Creativity can change the trajectory of a life.

HALO creates pathways for young people to learn, create, and explore through creative programs, mentorship, and career exposure, helping them imagine beyond what they already know.

Why HALO

We believe every young person deserves the opportunity to imagine a future beyond their circumstances.

HALO was created to honor lives lost to violence in Little Rock by investing in the lives still being shaped.

We believe young people deserve access to creativity, community, and opportunities that can expand how they see themselves and their future.

HALO is about more than learning a creative skill.
It is about creating access.
It is about belonging.
It is about possibility.

Mission

HALO provides underserved youth with access to creative education, mentorship, and opportunities that encourage self-expression, build confidence, and open pathways to creative careers.

Vision

A community where every young person has access to the resources, relationships, and creative opportunities needed to imagine and build a future of possibility.

Our approach

01

Create

Young people learn through photography, visual storytelling, art, music, and other creative mediums.

02

Connect

HALO builds relationships between young people, mentors, artists, professionals, and community members.

03

Explore

Participants are introduced to creative careers and possibilities they may not otherwise encounter.

04

Imagine

The ultimate goal is helping young people see themselves as creators, leaders, and contributors to their communities.
